This dutch hip-hop Rnb producer is known since the Foreign Exchange project, he also is a member of the Justus League. He connected with Phonte (Little Brother) by using internet forums to create Foreign Exchange. Their way of work is fun, he produced all the beats in the Netherlands and sent them to Phonte in the US. After that he left his country to the US and to join them to produce his first album: Here. His beats are a mix of samples and live instruments like keyboard and he is often compared with 9th Wonder. Pour ceux qui ne connaitraient pas encore Sampleur samplé il s’agit de la plus complète base de données de samples qui répertorie les instrus hiphop et les samples qu’ils utilisent.

Il y a également une communauté de beatmakers très active autour de leur forum.Et ce sont ces même beatmakers qui se sont livrés à un concours de remixes autour de l’album d ‘AZ  » A.W.O.L ».

Le résultat est une très bonne compile qui s’écoute très bien, les beats choisis sont vraiment de qualité.

On retrouve notamment des beatmakers comme Dement, Julos, Totof, Rulez, M. Flip, et bien d’autres… Parmi les meilleurs titres : « A.W.O.L  » par Dement et « AZ’s Chillin » par Mary qui sont vraiment de bons remix !

Since 9th wonder the great producer left Rapper Big Pooh & Phonte to follow his own career, many people were pessimistic about the future of Little Brother. Anyway the band found new talented producers like Illmind, Mr Porter, Hi-Tek and Nottz, to still rap on soulful beats. The entire album was mixed by DJ Khrysis from Justus League another good rappers to keep the original sound of Little Brother, he also produced « After the party » and finally even 9th left the band, he produced one beat: « Breakin’ my heart ».

About the featuring, they collaborated with the singer Darien Brockington known as the third man of Little Brother, Dion on « step it up » (Hi-teck) and the surprising Lil’Wayne.

It’s their third album and their third classic, it’s rare in Rap music to have this regularity, and listening an album from the beginning to the end without skipping the … tracks is a miracle nowadays.

After a 4 years break, DJ Netik came back in 2006 to the competition to provide us with his best routine and prove himself he was still up to compete with the top rated DMC DJs.

Fed up with humdrum funky and groovy breakbeat, he collaborated with the French producer JAD, operating a real style revolution with some fresh hardcore hip hop electro beats.

His technique remained the same, combining short cut, scratch drumming and beat juggling within his own sample beats.

No wonder his fan were surprised, anyway this combo helped him to be the first French DMC World Champion!

Rodrigo y Gabriela is a fresh album produced by John Leckie (The Bends by Radiohead). These two mexican guys play with a great skills and mix flamenco with heavy metal technics. Inside the playlist you can find their own compositions like « Tamacun », « diablo rojo » and some great adaptations of « stairway to heaven » by Led Zep or « Orion » by Metallica. It’s full of rythm just go and listen, have fun.
